Turmeric Latte is a traditional way of serving turmeric in India and is widely known for its anti-inflammatory an anti-microbial properties. You can buy many blends (we adore LOVE TEA Golden Spice here at the clinic) or you can make your own following the recipe below:
300ml coconut milk
1 tsp ground turmeric
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
2 black peppercorns
1 tsp coconut oil
honey to taste
1 cinnamon stick
Place milk, spices and coconut oil in pan and heat gently until the mixture almost reaches boiling point.
Reduce the heat and simmer gently for 25 minutes.
Strain into a mug
Stir in honey and serve with a cinnamon stick
