Cherry Ripe Clear Skin Smoothie

Start including these amazing, nutritious red cherries into your diet and you will reap the benefits. Your skin will love the high anti-oxidant and vitamin A that these fruit are loaded with.


Hemp seeds are a good source of polyunsaturated and essential fatty acids. They have about a 3:1 ratio of omega-6 to omega-3, which is considered in the optimal range. The contain a high level of protein and vitamin E, not forgetting minerals such as phosphorus, potassium, sodium, magnesium, sulfur, calcium, iron and zinc.


Recipe: Serves 1

  • 1/2 cup cherries frozen

  • 1 Tbsp Cacao

  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup coconut flakes

  • 1/4 Hemp Seeds for Protein (Protein powder can be substituted

  • 1/2 cup baby spinach

  • 1 cup of milk (your choice)

  • handful of ice if needed

Place in blender and mix well.

Serve immediately Enjoy!
